William Clarke joined Wilson Gunn in 2023 after a period of 8 years at a global IP firm where he qualified as a European Patent Attorney.
William has experience in the drafting and prosecution of patent applications in the UK, Europe and foreign territories. He has experience in a broad range of technology including: mechanical engineering, packaging, passive and active dampers, oil and gas equipment, tidal power generation systems, medical devices, vascular implants, pipeline vehicles, pipeline linings, cryogenic testing equipment, thermal storage devices, lighting fittings, seal scarers, solar concentrators, automotive engineering, software, social networking systems, virtual reality headsets and data storage systems.
William has worked with a large range of clients from individuals and SMEs to large multi-national companies.
William also has particular experience in obtaining patent protection for clients in the United States.
William looks after the filing and prosecution of registered design applications in the UK and overseas and has experience in managing global design portfolios.
