Scott joined Wilson Gunn in 2017 and is training to qualify as a Chartered and European Patent Attorney.
Scott assists in the drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications in the UK, Europe and internationally. He mainly assists in the prosecution of chemical and pharmaceutical inventions, including medical devices, wound care technologies, food science, polymers, and pharmaceuticals.
Scott’s degree covered a wide range of disciplines in organic, physical and inorganic chemistry, as well as biochemistry and medicinal chemistry. His final year research project was concerned with the synthesis and supramolecular self-assembly properties of a number of zinc and gallium metalloporphyrins.
Scott has assisted in the filing and protection of registered design applications in the UK and overseas, together with assisting in the management of a number of global design portfolios.
