Greg Jones joined Wilson Gunn in 2018 and is a qualified European Patent Attorney. Greg is currently training to qualify as a Chartered Patent Attorney.
Greg has experience assisting in drafting and prosecuting applications in the UK, Europe and internationally. He has worked with clients across a broad range of fields, including network optimization, mechanical engineering, additive manufacturing, automotive engineering, packaging, signal processing, manufacturing, construction, industrial processes, advanced pipeline monitoring systems, optical instruments, data processing and alternative energy products.
As part of his master’s degree, Greg studied graphene in detail, including a final year research project on spintronics, a theorised application of graphene similar to electronics. He also carried out research into techniques and devices used to extract energy from water waves.
Greg has worked on a broad range of copyright issues, including database rights and copyright infringement.
