Wilson Gunn has again been recognised as a leading patent and trade mark firm in The Legal 500 2018 national rankings.
The Legal 500 is the leading guide to law firms in the UK. Their rankings are based on feedback from 250,000 in-house peers which are independently assessed by their experienced team of researchers.
Wilson Gunn’s “first class” trade mark team is ranked in tier two, placing it amongst the top trade mark firms in the country. The rankings highlight the expertise of the firm’s partners, including Mark Goodwin “technically superb”; Michael Douglas “a safe pair of hands”; James Robey “highly strategic” with “the added gift of being able to translate that for the client into extremely sound commercial and practical advice”; and Tim Rose.
The firm has also maintained its national tier three ranking for patents, praised for its “high level of client service” and “always very commercial and pragmatic” approach. There were also more commendations for the team, Michael Douglas is praised for his “calm and commercial approach” that “provides pragmatic and practical solutions”, James Robey is described as “a highly intelligent and astute attorney” as well as Mark Goodwin “a very able attorney” and David Slattery “an effective problem-solving attorney”.
