Wilson Gunn makes three new partners

Chris McDonald, Marc Lewis and Mark Jolly join the partnership.

Wilson Gunn has promoted Chris McDonald, Marc Lewis and Mark Jolly to partners. All three are based in the firm’s Manchester head office.

Chris McDonald is a patent and trade mark attorney who initially trained as a Patent Examiner at the European Patent Office in Munich. With a PhD in Chemistry, Chris’s expertise lies in organic and inorganic chemistry, food chemistry, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, polymers, catalysts, pesticides and cosmetics.

Marc Lewis is a patent and trade mark attorney who joined Wilson Gunn in 2007 and has trained and qualified with the firm. Marc deals with a range of patent work, as well as handling trade mark portfolios for some of the firm’s major clients.

Mark Jolly is a patent and design attorney who joined Wilson Gunn in 2014 from a practice in London, having qualified in 2008. A graduate of the University of Manchester, Mark has particular strengths in engineering, especially automotive technology, and in handling contentious matters.
