Wilson Gunn made a return to the Advanced Engineering Show in 2015

We exhibited and spoke at the popular event, held at the NEC Birmingham.

After success last year, Wilson Gunn were back with a bang at the Advanced Engineering UK 2015 on 4–5 November at the NEC, Birmingham.

In the course of the two days the team were able to speak to many companies in the automotive and other engineering sectors interested in protecting or getting better value from their intellectual property.

Our stand

We were kept busy across both days. Free intellectual property audits were offered to visitors who came to the stand, who also had the chance to enter our prize draw to win a Double Supercar Race Day Experience.

Presentations

Wilson Gunn Partner James Robey presented at the show in 2014 and was invited back to speak again this year.

James presented with Shajahan Janally, a Design Engineer at Bentley Motors. They discussed protecting innovation in the automotive industry, illustrating with a case study relating to Bentley’s new Bentayga SUV.

Senior Associate Mark Jolly also spoke at the event. Mark presented with Dr Paul Wiper, Research Associate from the National Graphene Institute.

The presentation, entitled “Protecting Disruptive Technologies – Graphene, Composites and Patents”, organised by the Knowledge Transfer Network proved to be popular amongst visitors. Even front row seats were quickly filled!

See you in 2016

Like last year, Advanced Engineering UK 2015 was a great success and we look forward to an equally successful 2016.
