Kirsten Coetzee joined the IP profession in 2012 and qualified as a trade mark attorney in 2015. Kirsten joined Wilson Gunn in 2022 having previously worked for a number of private practice firms in the UK.
Kirsten has a great deal of experience in both contentious and non-contentious trade mark matters including due diligence and IP audits, clearance searching and advice, trade mark fling and prosecution, oppositions, cancellations and infringement. He advises clients of all sizes across a diverse range of sectors, including oil and gas, financial services, sport, software, retail, and food and beverages.
Kirsten advises clients on the protection and enforcement of their trade mark rights both in the UK and globally. Kirsten takes a pragmatic and commercially focussed approach when advising clients and explains complex matters in an easily understandable manner.
