Justin Bukspan qualified as a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney in 2017 after a previous career as an advertising executive creating and growing global and local brands. He worked in international firms and boutique IP practices before joining Wilson Gunn in 2022.
Justin has collaborated with large global clients, SMEs, start-ups and charities in a broad range of sectors including telecoms, software, automotive, industrial components, operations consulting, FMCG, fashion, food and education, in the UK and abroad. He advises on the full spectrum of trade mark matters both in relation to the prosecution and the enforcement of his client’s rights before IP offices, the courts or trading standards and other administrative bodies. He also provides strategic advice and conducts brand audits and clearance searches to help his clients strengthen their brand portfolios.
Justin has extensive experience conducting design filings both nationally and globally and helps businesses defend their rights, whether they are registered or unregistered. He draws from his own experience in marketing communications to help his clients grow and nurture their brands by leveraging their creative assets to identify and strengthen their full range of intellectual property rights for the future.
Justin is also a board member of IP Reg, the UK’s regulatory body for chartered patent and trade mark attorneys.
