Ben Wadsworth joined Wilson Gunn in 2014 and qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2019. He is currently working towards qualification as a Chartered Patent Attorney.

Patents

Ben’s experience in patents covers many different fields, but he has particular experience in the mechanical, electrical and software technical fields. He has experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the UK, Europe and many other territories worldwide. His experience also extends to advising on patent infringement and enforcing patents.

Ben has worked with many types of clients, from individuals and SMEs to universities and large multi-national companies, and so has an understanding of the different requirements of each.

Designs and Copyright

Ben has extensive experience advising upon, filing and prosecuting registered design applications in both the UK and Europe, as well as many other territories around the world.

Ben also advises clients on registered unregistered design infringement and the enforcement of their rights.

Ben regularly advises on copyright matters, including infringement and enforcement. Ben’s experience in design and copyright enforcement includes advising on and filing Amazon and eBay takedown requests.
