Giles Pinnington B.Sc. (Hons)

Giles Pinnington is an honours graduate in chemistry from the University of York. As part of his degree, he worked in the York Structural Biology Laboratory. During his time at university Giles undertook research on a mutant version of insulin which was the most accurate to date. This required a good understanding of biology and physics as well as both practical and theoretical chemistry. Giles joined Wilson Gunn in 2008 and is training to qualify as a Chartered and European Patent Attorney. Giles has also obtained the Manchester University Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property Law.
